DZIF Metadata Repository (DZIF MDR)

The DZIF-MDR acts as a universal reference of metadata, including associated definitions, and is thus a valuable tool for data harmonization. By providing researchers with centralized and harmonized metadata from multiple DZIF sources, the management of datasets can be made more effective, making it easier to generate new datasets for research purposes. It makes it easier for researchers to find, understand and, above all, share important information. It stores structured information about the datasets used in studies and contains descriptions for all data elements used in the DZIF-ZBR.
