DZIF Central Biosample Register (DZIF-ZBR)

In order to make the biomaterials stored decentrally at the individual DZIF sites usable for research, the DZIF operates the central biosample register (DZIF-ZBR) at Helmholtz Zentrum München.

The ZBR brings together the sample data from the local systems, consolidates the data from the various sites and studies and thus represents a valuable tool for data harmonization.

By means of individual search queries, the ZBR provides researchers at the DZIF with an overview of the collected biosamples and associated data and thus an effective tool for planning projects involving the use of biosamples.
