Collaborative Transplant Study (CTS)

Description
The Collaborative Transplant Study (CTS), established in 1982, investigates medical questions related to the problems and risks of organ transplantation. It is based on the voluntary cooperation of numerous transplant centers worldwide. The aim is strictly scientific: by pooling international experience, complex interactions between factors can be analyzed more efficiently, and rare events can be studied in greater depth. In addition to maintaining a comprehensive transplant registry, the CTS conducts both prospective and retrospective studies on specific research topics.
