Neglected Tropical Diseases


Description
The WHO has included 21 diseases in a priority list as neglected tropical diseases. These are primarily worm diseases, but other unicellular parasites and bacterial and viral pathogens are also included—for example, the bacterial pathogen of leprosy and viruses that cause rabies or dengue fever.
