HEnRY Biobanking Software

Description
HEnRY (HIV Engaged Research Technology) is a biobanking software for documenting the storage and processing of blood and other biospecimens. HEnRY significantly simplifies and accelerates practical laboratory work, enhancing documentation quality and minimizing potential sources of error. HEnRY stores information about studies, samples, aliquots, and processing steps in a structured manner. Through import and export functions, information can be exchanged, improving collaboration among different working groups. HEnRY has been in use at the University Hospital of Cologne since 2016 with high user satisfaction and has been available for the Translational HIV Platform since early 2017. HEnRY is now used by various working groups for documenting samples in the research fields of virology, oncology, dermatology, and nephrology. It is also utilized for biospecimens from animals or cell lines.
